Mumbai, Aug. 15 -- A 17-year-old girl allegedly jumped to her death from the 23rd floor of a high-rise building in the Oberoi complex in Goregaon, an area of Mumbai suburb, an official said here today.
According to police, the girl was a student of Class 11 and was under depression. She was residing with her parents in the 23-storey Oberoi Square building.
On Thursday afternoon, around 3:30 PM, when her father was out on work and mother was in the kitchen, the girl suddenly jumped from the window of her room.
She died on the spot. No suicide note was found.
Further investigation is on.
