Ratnagiri, Aug. 16 -- The 'Marathi Patrakar Parishad' today staged a protest at Nivali on the Mumbai-Goa Highway demanding urgent completion of the highway, that has been stalled for 17-years, and highlighted the dangerous state of the crater-filled road.
Journalists raised slogans, including "Potholes have become deep; blame the government for incomplete work" and "Stop playing with Konkan lives; complete the Mumbai-Goa highway," during the demonstration that started at 11 am.
