Lucknow, Sept. 18 -- In a major administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government today transferred 16 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including the police chiefs of 10 districts, along with several key officers posted at the headquarters and in special units.
Among the notable changes, Hemraj Meena, SSP Azamgarh, and Santosh Kumar Mishra, SP Kushinagar, have been removed from their posts and attached to the DGP Office.
SP Security, Lucknow, Jay Prakash Singh, has been appointed as the new SP of Unnao. SSP Aligarh, Sanjeev Suman, has been shifted to Deoria as SP, replacing Vikrant Veer, who has also been attached to the DGP Office.
