Kasaragod, Sept. 10 -- As many as 14 children, including 13 teenaged girls, have been admitted at a private hospital, following suspected food poisoning after they consumed shawarma from a hotel at Poochakkad in Pallikkara panchayat near Kanhangad, on Tuesday.
According to hospital sources, four girl students, aged between 13 to 16, have been admitted at the hospital, while remaining 11 were given Out Patient treatment from the hospital last night and are under observation.
The health condition of all the children is stable.
