Dehradun, Aug. 10 -- A 14-year old girl was gangraped and thrown from the terrace of a house in Haridwar as three accused youths fled from the spot. The victim was rushed to hospital where she is recuperating.
Three teenagers, including a minor, gang-raped a 14-year old girl at Pathri area of Haridwar yesterday.
According to the girl's family, as told to the police, the accused threw the victim in the adjacent sugarcane field from the house rooftop, fearing they would be caught by the villagers who had gathered in front of the house and demanded that the gate be opened.
The girl was seriously injured and admitted at Haridwar district hospital.
