Beed, Dec. 6 -- The Beed Zilla Parishad Education Department has suspended 14 teachers for failing to submit their UDID (Unique Disability ID) cards despite repeated orders.
The teachers were instructed to present valid certificates as part of an ongoing verification drive. Even after receiving multiple reminders and notices, these teachers did not comply with the directive, leading the department to initiate disciplinary action.
The Education Department had launched a UDID card verification campaign to check the authenticity of disability certificates. Although teachers were given sufficient time, these 14 individuals neither submitted their documents nor responded to the notices served to them.
