Tirupati, Feb. 6 -- The 137th birth anniversary of Sri Veturi Prabhakara Sastri will be celebrated grandly here on Friday under the auspices of the TTD Sri Veturi Prabhakara Sastri Vanmaya Peetham.
On this occasion, TTD senior officials will offer floral tributes to the bronze statue of Veturi Prabhakara Sastri located opposite the SVETA Bhavan in Tirupati in the morning.
Thereafter commemorative lecture will be held at SV Ven Oriental College premises in Tirupati wherein eminent scholars will deliver lectures on Veturi contributions.
