Islamabad, Feb. 14 -- Thirteen terrorists were killed in separate operations in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the military said on Thursday.
The security forces conducted intelligence-based operations in Dera Ismail Khan, North Waziristan, Lakki Marwat and Khyber districts of KP, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement.
During the operation in Dera Ismail Khan district, five terrorists were killed during a clash between security forces and terrorists, said the ISPR statement.
In two separate encounters in North Waziristan, five terrorists were killed after an intense exchange of fire, the ISPR said.
