Vijayawada, Jan. 25 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Health Satya Kumar Yadav on Saturday announced that 13 new dialysis centres are being established in various government hospitals to serve the kidney patients.
The Health Minister told the media here today that tenders were already invited for six dialysis centres to be set up in Kodepi, Mydukur,Kovvur, Nandigama and Railway Kodur government general hospitals and steps are being taken to make sure that their services are available by the month of April.
The Minister noted that 12 dialysis centres were established at a cost of Rs 11.05 crore during the last 19 months in various government hospitals.The government is aimed at serving kidney patients of rural areas, he stated, recalling that...
