Agartala, Oct. 6 -- Tripura Police have arrested 13 individuals in connection with creating a series of disturbances in the city during Durga puja celebration between Sept 28 and Oct 5 based on multiple complaints of law and order violations.
Officer-in-Charge Rana Chatterjee said that the arrest was a violent altercation during the Durga Puja celebrations at City Centre, where a man was allegedly assaulted after confronting a group of individuals accused of harassing his wife.
In another case, a Tripura State Rifles (TSR) personnel was attacked by a group.
