Prayagraj, Sept. 10 -- A class 12 student was brutally murdered by his classmates inside the Indira Gandhi Memorial Inter College premises in the Karchana police station area of Prayagraj, police said.
The victim, Avnish Pandey (19), a resident of Garhwa Kala in Yamunanagar, was attacked with a knife during the school interval yesterday morning.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 11 am when Avnish was coming down the stairs. He was suddenly attacked by two of his classmates, Abhishek Soni and Abhay Pathak, both residents of Mahi Peedhi in the Karchana area.
The assailants stabbed Avnish twice, once in the chest and then fatally in the neck.
