Islamabad, Nov. 11 -- As many as 12 people were killed and 20 others injured in an explosion at the district and sessions court in Islamabad's G-11 area on Tuesday, according to Dawn.
A security source told CNN that the blast near the city's High Court is being investigated as a suicide attack.
12 people are dead and 20 sustained injuries in the blast, a senior Islamabad police official was quoted by Dawn.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
Videos circulating on social media showed flames and thick smoke rising from a charred vehicle behind a security barrier.
