Agartala, Nov. 18 -- Altogether 12 persons including a women leader and the driver
of a bus carrying CPI (M) party workers, sustained injuries allegedly in an attack by BJP
workers at Khayerpur in eastern Agartala when they were returning from a party program.
Police said Mili Debbarma district committee member of the CPI (M) was injured seriously
after brick pelted on her. The incident took place at Khayerpur market area last evening
in front of the CPI (M) party office.
The vehicle in which the party workers were boarded after the meeting and gathering
was also damaged partly by the miscreants. In order to safeguard the party workers, the
