Aurangabad/Mumbai, April 8 -- With 117 new Corona positive patients reported across the state on Wednesday the total cases has gone up to 1135 with eight deaths in Maharashtra, said Rajesh Tope, State Health Minister.
With eight fresh deaths including five in Mumbai, two in Pune and one in Kalyan Dombivali reported today the death toll goes up to 72 in the state, he said.
Mr Tope said that so far 117 Corona patients who were cured were discharged from the hospitals from different places.
At present 942 patients were under treatment in isolation wards across the state.
Mr Tope further said that so far 27090 swab samples were investigated in the state of them 25753 swab samples tested as Negative and 1135 were tested as positive.
