Shillong, April 24 -- The Border Security Force (BSF) Meghalaya Frontier has marked a series of significant achievements in the first quarter of 2025, reinforcing its role in safeguarding the India-Bangladesh border and intensifying efforts against cross-border crimes, a BSF official said on Thursday.

The BSF troopers thwarted numerous infiltration attempts and apprehended a total of 115 individuals involved in illegal cross-border activities - comprising 78 Bangladeshi nationals and 37 Indian nationals.
