Vijayawada, Feb. 17 -- Andhra Pradesh Minister for Health Satya Kumar Yadav has informed the Legislative Council that 100 Primary Health Centres (PHCs) are being constructed at a cost of Rs 194 crore.

Replying to queries asked by members in the Legislative Council on Tuesday, the Health Minister said that there are 1144 PHCs in the State and all are working in their own buildings. It has been identified that 12 PHCs required new buildings and steps were taken in this regard, the Minister added.
