Meerut, July 31 -- A tragic road accident occurred this morning in the Kankarkheda police station area of Meerut, claiming the life of a 10-year-old girl and leaving several school children injured.
The incident took place near Nagla Tehsil on the Meerut-Karnal Highway, where a school van carrying nine children to Army School collided with a speeding Tata DCM truck.
The impact of the crash was severe, leading to the death of Arya Sirohi, a 10-year-old resident of Ganpati Vihar. Several other children sustained injuries and were rushed to the hospitals for treatment.
