Hyderabad, Aug. 18 -- A shocking incident of child murder was reported in Sangeetnagar, Kukatpally, today, where a 10-year-old girl was found dead with stab wounds at her residence.
According to police, the victim, a Class 6 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, was alone at home as her school had declared a holiday. Her parents-a bike mechanic father and a lab technician mother-had gone to work after sending their son to school.
Around 1230 hours, the father returned home to collect his son's lunch box and found his daughter lying lifeless in the bedroom with multiple knife injuries on her stomach. He immediately alerted the Kukatpally police.
