Chennai, Jan. 13 -- In continuing incidents, 10 Tamil Nadu fishermen were arrestedby the Sri Lankan Navy personnel while they were fishing in the high seas on Tuesdaymorning.

Fisheries deprtment sources said the fishermen, hailing from Rameswaram island inRamanathapuram district, had ventured into the sea and were fishing near Neduntheevuwhen they were arrested by the Sri Lankan Navy for allegedly fishing in their territorialwaters by crossing the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL).

The Lankan Navy impounded their boat and took them along with the fishermen toJaffna in Sri Lanka for further action.
