Islamabad, Jan. 31 -- Ten terrorists were killed in separate operations in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, the military said on Friday.

The security forces conducted intelligence-based operations in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan districts of KP, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of the Pakistan Army, said in a statement.

During the operation in the Khulachi area of Dera Ismail Khan district, four terrorists were killed during a clash between security forces and terrorists, said the ISPR statement.

In four separate encounters in North Waziristan, another six terrorists were killed after an intense exchange of fire, the ISPR said.
