Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 31 -- A large-scale initiative to strengthen women's healthcare by enabling early detection of breast cancer has been launched with the rollout of 10,000 free AI-powered thermal mammogram screenings.
The six-month programme will be implemented across five revenue districts-Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha, Kottayam and Pathanamthitta-in collaboration with leading hospitals in each district.
In Thiruvananthapuram, the project is being carried out in association with SP Medifort Hospital, ensuring high-quality screening supported by advanced artificial intelligence technology.
