Prague, Aug. 14 -- Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala said that 1 million large-caliber artillery shells were delivered to Ukraine in 2025 as part of the ammunition initiative.
"I can also announce that, as of today, through the Czech Ammunition Initiative, we have already delivered one million rounds of large-calibre ammunition to Ukraine this year," Fiala said on X .
In February 2024, the Czech Republic launched an initiative to procure ammunition outside the European Union for Ukraine.
