Pune, Jan. 24 -- A patriotic and inspiring Tiranga Pujan ceremony was held in Pune amid resounding chants of 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai'.
As part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Ghar Ghar Tiranga' campaign, 1,000 national flags have been dispatched for distribution in the border areas of Poonch district along the India-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir, through the 9 Maratha Regiment.
These tricolours will be delivered to households in the border villages of Poonch district. The initiative was undertaken with the support of Aamhi Punekar Sanstha, which organised a special programme to send the flags from Pune.
