Thiruvananthapuram, Dec. 15 -- The 'Meet the Director' session at the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) emerged as an engaging forum for filmmakers to openly deliberate on socio-political concerns, personal liberty, and contemporary narratives in cinema.

Director and actor Tannishtha Chatterjee, whose film Full Plate was screened at the festival, offered a forthright perspective on clothing and freedom.

"What you wear does not define your sense of freedom," she said, adding that a person wearing a hijab could hold more liberated thoughts than someone dressed in jeans. Attire, she noted, is often shaped by cultural habits and circumstances and should never be used as a measure of mental freedom.
