Hospet, Jan. 31 -- In a chilling case, a 24-year-old man allegedly murdered his parents and sister, buried their bodies inside his house in Vijayanagara district, and then travelled to Bengaluru to file a missing persons complaint in a bid to mislead the police.
The accused, Akshay Kumar of Kottur, approached the Tilaknagar police station on January 29, projecting himself as a worried son whose family had mysteriously disappeared. However, inconsistencies in his statements during routine questioning raised red flags, prompting investigators to probe deeper.
