Kolkata, July 9 -- Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today said he would take initiative
in engaging the Mamata Banerjee government in resolving the concerns of students.
Taking to his Twitter handle he said, 'Student worries are reflected in inputs to me.
After Virtual Conference with VCs on July 15 I would take initiative in engaging
@MamataOfficial @itspcofficial for redressal of concerns.'
The governor, who is also the Chancellor of universities in Bengal, further said,
'If required would also engage #UGC and Union HRD Minister.
'Am committed to student welfare,' his tweet ended.
