Shimla, March 5 -- Veteran Congress leader and former union Minister Anand Sharma reacted cautiously after the party chose Anurag Sharma as its candidate for the lone Rajya Sabha seat from Himachal Pradesh, bypassing several senior leaders including himself.
Speaking briefly to reporters on Thursday in Shimla before leaving for Delhi, Sharma said he was not in a position to comment on the reasons behind the party's decision.
He maintained that the selection of candidates was the prerogative of the party leadership and indicated that he would speak on the matter at an appropriate time.
Visibly pained and disturbed, Anand Sharma said, "Swabhiman rajniti mein mehanga hota hai, uski keemat chukani padti hai aur sach bolna ek abhishab aur apr...
