New Delhi, Jan. 25 -- The Indian edition of 'Wheel of Fortune' has premiered on Sony Entertainment Television, with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar as the host.
The Indian version includes puzzles in English, Hindi, and Hinglish, reflecting the country's linguistic diversity. The show retains the core format of the original, combining word games with elements of chance, and is designed to test speed, strategy, and problem-solving skills.
Contestants compete in four rounds, Triple Toss-Up, Puzzle Round, Double Dhamaaka, and the Bonus Round, solving word puzzles and spinning the wheel to win cash and prizes, with top rewards reaching up to Rs 1 crore.
