New Delhi, Feb. 16 -- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday reviewed the progress of indigenous military gas turbine engine development during his visit to the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) of the Defence Research and Development Organisation, in Bengaluru, and lauded the scientists for strengthening national security through self-reliance.
Emphasising the government's commitment to achieving Aatmanirbharta in aero engine development, he said Operation Sindoor had demonstrated India's growing indigenous defence capabilities and stressed the need to intensify efforts towards manufacturing world-class homegrown systems.
