Varanasi, Feb. 5 -- During the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process of the voter list in Uttar Pradesh, state Minister of State for Stamp and Court Registration Fees (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal on Thursday leveled serious allegations of 'vote jihad.'Jaiswal claimed that when his party workers examined the voter list in his North Assembly constituency, they found that the names of about 9,200 people were registered more than once. He alleged that most of these names belonged to a particular community.

The Minister met District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar to file a complaint and submitted the relevant list.
