Patna, Sept. 28 -- Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan today described Bihar as the land of knowledge, which has given the world not only Nalanda and Takshashila universities but also great spiritual leaders like Gautam Buddha and Lord Mahavira.

Addressing the valedictory session of "Unmesh , A Festival of Expression" organized by the Department of Culture, of Bihar, Radhakrishnan said it was a memorable experience to be partof an event on such historic soil, where 550 scholars and writers from across the world,representing more than 100 languages and 16 countries, came together.
