Vienna, Aug. 19 -- "Very tough sanctions" have been prepared to force Moscow to sit down at the negotiating table to resolve the Ukraine conflict, Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger said.

"We will see what results today's summit will lead to, but very tough sanctions have already been prepared to finally force [Russian President Vladimir] Putin to sit down at the negotiating table," Meinl-Reisinger told Austrian broadcaster ORF2.

She added that the main task is to restore peace order in Europe.
