Washington, Dec. 7 -- Amazon Prime Video has confirmed that the fifth and final season of its hit satirical superhero series "The Boys" will debut on April 8, launching with its first two episodes. New episodes will premiere weekly, culminating in the series finale on May 20, Variety reported.
The announcement came during the show's panel at CCXP Brazil, where creator Eric Kripke and cast members also revealed the first teaser trailer.
The teaser thrilled fans by showcasing a long-awaited on-screen reunion between Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles.
