Los Angeles, July 2 -- It seems that 'South Park' fans eager for the show's long-awaited return will unfortunately need to wait a little longer, as the popular Comedy Central has delayed the premiere of its highly anticipated Season 27 by two weeks, shifting the release from July 9 to July 23.
The delay comes as the show's streaming future remains uncertain, with its $500 million exclusive licensing deal with HBO Max expiring at the end of June. So far, no replacement deal has been officially announced, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
