Ranchi, Dec. 23 -- : The Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday took cognisance of reports that mafias and kingpins have been continuing criminal activities through social media following the jail dance incident, directing the state government to file an affidavit on the matter.
A division bench headed by Chief Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan orally observed that the situation was "shameful and alarming" for state agencies, expressing concern over the ease with which criminals were able to operate from behind bars.
