New Delhi, April 22 -- The government on Wednesday dismissed as "false" reports alleging that an Indian-flagged vessel made payments to secure passage through the Strait of Hormuz, even as it asserted that the maritime situation in the Persian Gulf remains under close watch, with all Indian seafarers in the region safe.
