Lucknow, Feb. 19 -- The Uttar Pradesh government has taken seriously complaints about officials not answering phone calls and is now moving towards a technological solution.

State Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun, while giving information in the Assembly on Thursday, stated that preparations are underway to launch the 'Sanchar Setu' app as a pilot project in three districts.

The minister said that public representatives and ordinary citizens often complain that officials do not answer phone calls. To address this issue, a special arrangement has been made in the Sanchar Setu app. If an official does not answer a phone call, the call information will automatically be recorded on the Sanchar Setu app.
