Lucknow, Aug. 5 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has firmly clarified that her party is aligned with neither the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) nor the opposition INDIA bloc led by the Congress.
Responding to media speculation about the BSP moving closer to the BJP, Mayawati issued a strong rebuttal on social media platform X, reaffirming her party's independent stance.
"The Bahujan Samaj Party is not with the BJP, Congress, or any other political alliance. Our party has always worked with an independent ideology based on Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's principle of 'Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay' (for the welfare and happiness of all)," Mayawati said.
