Los Angeles, Jan. 6 -- Taylor Sheridan's searing crime drama "Mayor of Kingstown" is set to conclude its run, with the series returning for a fifth and final season that will bring its uncompromising narrative to a definitive close.
The Jeremy Renner-led drama will return for an eight-episode final chapter, bringing a measured conclusion to a show that has spent five seasons exploring the brutal intersections of power, incarceration and survival.
Co-created by Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, the series also stars Edie Falco and has built a reputation for its unflinching portrayal of power, violence and moral compromise in a prison-dominated town.
