Chennai, Aug. 30 -- After a prolonged legal battle, the Andrea Jeremiah-starrer 'Manushi' is set to hit the screens following clearance from the Madras High Court, which overruled the Central Board of Film Certification's (CBFC) objections that the film was "anti-national".

Justice N Anand Venkatesh, who held a private screening of the film, permitted its release with minor modifications, as against the 25 cuts and 12 changes sought by the CBFC.
