Gonda, Oct. 9 -- Cabinet Minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, Nitin Agarwal, today said that only by promoting Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious 'Make in India' initiative will the nation join the list of developed countries.
Talking to reporters, the minister said that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) could not be implemented earlier due to the ill-intentioned policies of the previous UPA government.
"But due to the Modi government's transparency, GST was implemented after gaining confidence in the federal structure," he said.
