New Delhi, Feb. 13 -- The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on Thursday night said that the probe into the June 2025 Air India Flight AI-171 crash is still ongoing, dismissing a media report that blamed the pilot for the disaster that claimed 260 lives.

The bureau categorically rejected a report by the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, which claimed the investigation had been completed and attributed the crash to an alleged "intentional act" by one of the pilots.
