Patna, Aug. 23 -- Hitting back strongly after an FIR (first information report) was lodged against him for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejaswi Yadav today said that he was not afraid and will continue to speak the truth.

Rejecting the charges, Yadav said he would not be silenced by legal intimidation. "Who is afraid of an FIR? I am not. I always speak the truth, and sometimes the truth hurts people. But I will continue to say what needs to be said, without fear," he asserted while talking to a section of media during the ongoing Voter Adhikar Yatra of the opposition.
