Lucknow, July 16 -- Jamaluddin alias Chhangur Baba, the alleged mastermind of the Uttar Pradesh mass religious conversion racket, has broken his silence on the allegations.
"I am innocent. I don't know anything," Chhangur Baba said. He pleaded his innocence while talking to media persons here this afternoon.
Chhangur Baba and his aide Nasreen were brought from Balrampur after end of the 7 days police remand. Later they were taken to a Community Health Centre for a medical examination.
The ATS has sought further extension of the remand of Chhangur Baba from the court.
