Lucknow, July 19 -- Criticising Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over his recent controversial remarks on the Tazia procession during Muharram, Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav said that "some ghosts will be exercising their rights at the polling booth," hinting that Muslims would respond through their votes.
Akhilesh posted on his social media handle, "Next time, some ghosts will be exercised at the booth. Nothing more to say."
His response came after Yogi, during a public address in Varanasi, referred to protesters as "ghosts" who only understand force.
