New Delhi, Jan. 14 -- BJP's national spokesperson, Shehzad Poonawala, on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Congress for allegedly prioritising Rahul Gandhi over German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who arrived in Bengaluru for his visit to India.

He accused the Congress of having "misplaced priorities" after Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM DK Shivakumar chose to receive Rahul Gandhi in Mysuru instead of welcoming the German Chancellor in Bengaluru.

In a video statement, Poonawala said that when the leader of one of the world's strongest economies was landing in Bengaluru with potential investments worth thousands of crores, the state leadership opted to be with Rahul Gandhi-who was only on a transit visit to Ooty....
