New Delhi, Jan. 13 -- Ahead of the forthcoming union Budget, the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has submitted a comprehensive set of suggestions to the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, seeking measures to strengthen and empower the country's trading community.

CAIT National General Secretary and Member of Parliament from Chandni Chowk, Praveen Khandelwal, said the proposals are aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a strong, transparent and self-reliant India. He said the suggestions focus on providing traders with dignity, simplicity, security and equal opportunities.
