Mumbai, June 3 -- Acclaimed National Award-winning director Subhrajit Mitra is set to unveil his period drama "Devi Chowdhurani" on September 26, strategically timed with the auspicious occasion of Durga Puja.
Starring stalwarts Prosenjit Chatterjee and Srabanti Chatterjee and enriched by a powerful original score from maestro Pandit Bickram Ghosh, the film stands as Indian cinema's first officially sanctioned Indo-UK co-production, jointly recognised by the governments of India and the United Kingdom.
