Hyderabad, April 2 -- Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) Director Shikha Goel on Thursday called upon citizens to remain alert against rising cybercrimes, particularly those targeting the elderly, as the state observed 'Cyber Jagrukta Divas'.
Announcing that April has been designated as 'Cyber Awareness Month for the Elderly', she said the initiative aims to empower senior citizens to use digital services confidently under the slogan #OnlineButUnafraid. As part of the programme, 281 awareness sessions were conducted during Gram Sabha meetings across the state.
