Srinagar, Aug. 11 -- The sacred mace of Lord Shiva-'Chhari-Mubarak', 'Pujan' and 'Visarjan" was performed on the banks of Lidder river in south Kashmir's Pahalgam today, marking the ritual culmination of the annual Amarnath yatra.

Mahant Deependra Giri, the custodian of the holy mace, said Amarnathji pilgrimage concluded with Pujan and Visarjan ceremonies in Pahalgam, followed by a Karri-Pakori Bhandara. The Pujan and Visarjan were performed at the banks of the Lidder River in Pahalgam.

Officials said all necessary arrangements were made during the final ritual of the Yatra.

This year more than 4.10 lakh yatris paid obeisance at the Holy Cave of Shri Amarnathji.
